This position will be responsible for the direction and performance of Accounting activities as required on a day-to-day operation. Prepare financial analysis for Management. Responsible for the maintenance of the credit union's financial records and the archive of financial records. Cross-train other staff members. Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly reports for Management and Supervisory Committee review. Assist with annual budget. Facilitate Supervisory and Investment Committee meetings as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: 10 key calculator/adding machine, Proficient skills in Window, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel), Proficient on computerized accounting systems, Throughout knowledge of Accounting principles and practices, Ability to supervise staff. Ability to solve day to day problems dealing with accounting functions, Must be proficient in all math applications, Able to lift/carry supplies/or equipment up to 30 lbs, Require close and distant vision.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. |
